Traditional methods of making a custom crafted orthotics involve taking a foam impression/mould of the foot… often non-weight bearing. While these methods capture some information about the shape and size of the non-weight bearing foot, they do not reveal information regarding pressure, motion, direction and time.
Our “Dynamic Gait Analysis” and “Digital Electronic Casting” systems dynamically analyze the effects of reaction ground forces on the lower extremities. This advanced technology is used internationally in medical research facilities. Not only do we assess weight bearing pressure, more importantly we capture the transfer of pressure while the body is in motion.
Rather than just casting or molding the non-weight bearing foot, we analyze your mobility (how you transfer ground forces during gait) scientifically, in order to correct your mobility. The results are instantaneously reproduced for your review.
