1. What is
Edvantage?
- Edvantage offers great rewards and discounts to
education employees and their families through partnerships with
retailers and businesses throughout Ontario. OTIP administers
Edvantage on behalf of your teachers' association. Through continued
support from our partners, Edvantage is able to offer great discounts,
special offers and contests to you, our valued members.
2. What is
my Edvantage card?
- Your card serves a dual purpose as your association
card and your Edvantage membership card. Partners require your
Edvantage number (X digit number located on your card) as well
as the name of your association, in order to administer the discount.
- How do I find out my Edvantage number? Call "OTIP" at 1-800-267-6847 to request a new card and to find out your Edvantage number.
3. How do
I replace my lost card?
- To replace a lost membership card please contact
your association. They will send you your new membership
card.
- Don't know who to contact? Call Edvantage
Customer service @ 1-800-267-6847 and they will be pleased to
provide you with the information you need.
4. How do
I get an Edvantage card for another member of my family?
- Additional family cards are available for your
dependent spouse or children living in the same household. Select
the family cards option on the
side navigation bar and fill out the requested
information.
5. I don't
see my association's logo on the top right corner of the Edvantage
page what do I do?
- If you have connected to the Edvantage Web site
and do not have the proper affiliate welcome, please click
here. This will clear your cookie information and allow you
to enter your correct affiliate information.
6. Who should
I contact with a compliment, complaint, problem or suggestion?
- Send us an E-mail.
We will do our best to respond within one business day.
- Call Customer Service. Speak with one of our Edvantage
customer service representatives at 1-800-267-6847.
7. How do
I access my Edvantage discount?

- Look for this button on each partner page, information
on how to obtain your discount is given. A complete listing
of contact information is also available. You can contact
each partner directly with questions about their products,
services or discounts.

I find information on the Edvantage Web site?
- Whether you love to browse the specials or have
a particular item in mind, we are confident that our Web site
design will suit your needs. The home page of the Edvantage Web
site is a great place to begin shopping. See the following list
of shopping strategies that can be accessed from the homepage.
- Categorical listing - Home, Auto
or something new for you! With broader categories to browse,
find what you are looking for with ease. Click on the links
of the top navigation bar.
- Page to page - On the side of each
page use the previous or next button to go to the next alphabetical
partner listing.
- Use the new "How To?" red
button on each page to go right to the method of how to
get your discount.
- Specials/ Contests - If you love
to save money or feel the thrill of winning, check regularly
to learn about the latest specials and contests available to
you. Look for the Specials or Contests link on the partner page
to learn more.
9. How do
I find out what's new to Edvantage?
- Go directly to the home page an look for the what's
new box on the home page.
- Subscribe to our quarterly Edvantage e-News for
all the newest specials, contests and offers with Edvantage.
10. How do
I subscribe/unsubscribe to the Edvantage e-News?
- To subscribe/unsubscribe, click
here. You will have the option to enter your E-mail
address to automatically receive the quarterly e-News.
11. What
minimum requirements should my browser meet to best use the site?
- A browser is the software you use to view
Web information. Common browsers include, but are not limited
to, Microsoft Internet Explorer, Netscape, and others. Newer versions
of browsers are able to display more features than older versions.
To obtain the maximum viewing in the site, the following browser
versions are recommended:
- Microsoft Internet Explorer 5.X and up.
- Netscape 6.X and up.
12. What
are "cookies"?
- Cookies are small text files transferred from our
Web site to your hard drive. Most major Web sites use them in
order to recognize repeat users and ease your access and use of
our site. Cookies do not damage files or allow anyone to access
your personal information - they simply allow us to tailor information
to make your visits more enjoyable and meaningful.

also provide us with usage information to help us improve and
update our site. While we may share aggregate (not individual)
