To obtain 1 ballot, contestants must enter their contact information, being their first and last name, phone number (residential or cell phone), postal code and e-mail address (“mandatory information”). Failing to complete the mandatory information means the contestant will not be entered into the contest.

Contestants can earn up to 3 additional ballots for a maximum of 4 ballots into the contest by providing their car insurance renewal date, their home insurance renewal date and/or their planned retirement date (“optional information”) at the time of entry into the contest. Only 1 car insurance renewal date, 1 home insurance renewal date and 1 retirement date can be provided for a maximum of 3 additional ballots (1 ballot per date provided).

By entering a policy renewal date for either home and/or auto policies and/or entering planned retirement date and entering the contest, contestants agree and consent to having an OTIP customer service representative contact them prior to their insurance policy(ies) expiring, or prior to them retiring to receive a free, no-obligation insurance quote(s) and to discuss insurance matters applicable to them. Contestants do not have to be currently insured through OTIP.

Contestants providing renewal dates to insurers or obtaining quotes directly from insurers associated with OTIP will not be eligible to enter that optional information into the contest. All renewal dates entered into the contest must be for current, in-force home and/or auto insurance policies.

Contestants will have the option to opt-in and receive SMS marketing messages from OTIP by providing their mobile number and will have the further option to answer the question, asking if they are currently an OTIP auto and/or home policy holder. Neither of these sections are mandatory and answering these questions will not provide a ballot into the contest. For those subscribing to SMS marketing messages, only one subscription per person per mobile phone number will be sent. Contestants who do not wish to receive marketing messages may unsubscribe at any time by selecting the unsubscribe link in the SMS marketing message or by notifying Edvantage’s or OTIP’s marketing department at the contact information below.
